1. Who we are

backbencheruk.com is run by Britbunt Ltd, trading as Backbencher, a company registered in England and Wales (number 14493528), registered office 532a Barking Road, London, E13 8QE. You can contact us at hello@backbencheruk.com.

2. Your order

When you place an order you’ll receive an email confirming we’ve received it. A contract is formed when we confirm your payment. If we can’t accept your order, for example because a piece has sold out, we’ll tell you and refund any payment in full.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Delivery charges are shown before you pay. Payment is taken securely by Stripe at checkout; we never see or store your card details.

4. Made to order and delivery

Each piece is made to order and normally ships within 7–9 working days. Delivery times are estimates. If your order is significantly delayed, we’ll contact you, and you may cancel for a full refund.

5. Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it. Tell us at hello@backbencheruk.com, then return the item within 14 days of telling us. Returns are free: we provide a return label. Please return items unworn and unwashed; we may reduce a refund if an item has been handled beyond what is needed to check it. We refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back, or of you providing proof of postage if sooner, including the original standard delivery charge, to your original payment method. You may use the model cancellation form, but you don’t have to.

6. Faulty items

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If an item is faulty or not as described, contact us and we’ll repair, replace or refund it.

7. Limited editions

Drop 001 is limited to 150 pieces and will not be restocked. Washed garments vary slightly in colour and finish; this is part of the product and not a fault.

8. Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We don’t exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

9. Intellectual property

BACKBENCHER® is a registered trademark. The Backbencher name, logos, Bench Guy artwork and site content belong to us and may not be used without permission.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
