A London streetwear brand for the overlooked turning unstoppable.
Backbencher started with one seat: the one at the back of the room, where nobody looks. We make clothes for the people who sat there, and for everyone who still carries that feeling into every room they walk into.
What we make
Heavyweight essentials with one story printed on every piece. Our hoodies and crewnecks are cut from 530gsm cotton and our tees from 430gsm washed cotton, heavy enough to hold their shape and made to be worn for years.
We release in drops. Each drop is limited and never restocked. Drop 001 is 150 pieces in total.
What we stand for
Being overlooked doesn’t break you. It builds you.
We remember who sat with us at the back, and we build for them first.

The mark
The red circle is all of us together. The K is King. The arrow is the move forward, from the back of the room to the front. Red is the fire that turned being overlooked into drive.
How we work
Every piece is made to order for the person who buys it, so nothing sits unsold in a warehouse. We design in London, ship across the UK, and make returns free, because buying from a new brand should feel safe.
